This standard applies to black sesame cultivation within the boundaries of Dachong Town in the suburbs of Tongling City. Main technical content: 4. Production techniques 4.1 Site selection: Select plots with high terrain and good drainage conditions, and plots that have not been planted with sesame in the past two years. 4.2 Land preparation and fertilization 4.2.1 Fertilization: For summer black sesame, where organic fertilizer sources are sufficient, approximately 15,000 kg/hm2 of composted manure or cake fertilizer can be applied, along with 45% compound fertilizer at 150 kg/hm2 to 225 kg/hm2; if there are no organic fertilizer sources, approximately 600 kg/hm2 to 750 kg/hm2 of 45% compound fertilizer can be applied. For autumn black sesame, the amount of base fertilizer should be about half to two-thirds of that for summer sesame, and the amount can be adjusted according to the soil conditions. For newly reclaimed red soil drylands, approximately 750 kg/hm2 to 1,125 kg/hm2 of quicklime and 7.5 kg/hm2 to 15 kg/hm2 of borax can be applied. After land preparation and fertilization, the land should be tilled with a rotary tiller to a depth of about 15 cm. If there are many residual stems from the previous crop, the tilling should be repeated twice to ensure that the surface is level, free of residual branches or hard objects, and the bedding should be shaped like a turtle back. The bedding width should be about 40 cm, and the depth should be about 20 cm. The bedding, surrounding ditches, and external drainage should be well connected. For autumn black sesame, sowing should be carried out immediately after land preparation. 4.3 Seed treatment 4.3.1 Soaking: Before sowing, soak the seeds in 50℃ to 55℃ warm water for 10 minutes to 15 minutes, or soak them i
