Scope

This standard specifies the terminology definitions, product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of molecular sieve filters for household refrigerators and freezers.
This standard applies to molecular sieve filters used in refrigerators, freezers, water dispensers, wine cabinets, and ice makers (hereinafter referred to as refrigeration systems) that are cooled by R134a or R600a refrigerants. The molecular sieve filters referred to in this standard include ordinary molecular sieve filters and molecular sieve filters with welded pipes.
