T/GTAC 002-2019 Standard for Peng'ai Seedlings of Authentic Medicinal Herbs
T/GTAC 002-2019
Basic Information
Scope
Main Technical Content: 3.1 Peng Ai is a plant of the Artemisia genus in the Asteraceae family. 3.2 Division seedlings are plants that sprout and extend from the base of the mother plant's stem. 3.3 Rootstock mother plants are underground stems that extend from the base of the mother plant's stem. 3.4 Buds sprouting from the rootstock mother plant's stem. 3.5 Plant height is the vertical distance from the ground to the top of the plant, measured in cm. 3.6 Stem diameter is the diameter of the plant at the point where the stem meets the ground, measured in cm. 4. Seedling Quality Requirements Qualified seedlings are determined based on comprehensive control conditions, plant height, and stem diameter. The quality standards for Peng Ai division seedlings should meet the requirements of Table 1. Table 1: Peng Ai Division Seedling Grading Standards Indicator Grade Peng Ai Seedling Quality Grading Appearance Requirements First-grade seedlings Second-grade seedlings Plant height (cm) ≥278–27 ≥3.8 1.4–3.8 Diameter (cm) ≥3.8 1.4–3.8 4. Rootstock Quality Standards The rootstock quality standards for Peng Ai should meet the requirements of Table 2. Table 2: Peng Ai Rootstock Grading Standards Indicator Grade Peng Ai Rootstock Quality Grading Appearance Requirements First-grade seedlings Second-grade seedlings Rootstock length (cm) ≥105–10 ≥3 ≥105–10 Diameter (mm) ≥2 <2 Young buds (cm) 5–10 ≥10, or <5 5. Testing Methods 5.1 Post-sampling seedling quality testing should be conducted within a single batch of seedlings, using random sampling methods. The sampling rules for division seedlings should follow GB 6000-1999. For rootstocks, sampling should be conducted at a ratio of 1 kg per 1,000 kg, and the sampling rules should follow GB 6000-1999. 5.2 Division seedling inspection 5.2.1 Plant height is measured using a ruler with a precision of no less than 0.1 cm from the ground to the top
