Planting requirements for garden preparation 5.1.1 Deep plowing and sun-bleaching In autumn and winter, conduct comprehensive deep plowing and sun-bleaching of the garden, with a depth of 40–50 cm. 5.1.2 Opening ditches and building ponds Dig drainage and irrigation ditches around the garden and construct water storage ponds in sections, connecting the ditches to the garden ditches. 5.1.3 Leveling and preparing planting beds Level the garden and prepare planting beds. The width of the planting beds should be 100–120 cm, with a depth of 10–20 cm in sloping areas and 25–30 cm in flat areas. The width of the ditches should be 30 cm, and the soil blocks on the planting beds should be broken up and leveled. Before preparing the planting beds, sufficient base fertilizer should be applied. The base fertilizer should mainly consist of organic fertilizer, compost, or compound fertilizer, with a dosage of 250–300 kg per 667 m². The base fertilizer should be thoroughly mixed with the soil before preparing the planting beds. 5.1.4 Covering with black plastic film For direct-cutting cuttings, cover the leveled planting beds with degradable black plastic film after leveling. 5.2 Transplanting seedlings 5.2.1 Seedling requirements Select disease-resistant, high-yielding, and high-quality jasmine varieties, such as Jinqian Jasmine (Double-Petal Jasmine Qingxi Cultivar). The variety and seedling quality should meet the requirements of T/QWCX 003. 5.2.2 Transplanting time Transplantation can be carried out in spring, summer, and autumn. In spring, from early March to mid-April; in autumn, from late September to early October. 5.2.3 Transplanting method It is recommended to plant in an east-west direction, with double-row staggered planting.
