Scope
This standard specifies the method for determining the chitosan fiber content in textiles using the colloidal titration method.
This standard is applicable to mixtures of chitosan fibers with cellulose fibers, protein fibers, polyester fibers, nylon, vinylon, spandex, acetate fibers, triacetate fibers, etc.
This standard is not applicable to textile products containing chitosan finishing agents.
