Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, testing methods, defect assessment, and inspection reports for ultrasonic longitudinal and transverse wave inspections of the boiler bodies of ultra-high pressure crystallizers currently in use. This standard is applicable to the ultrasonic pulse reflection method for inspecting the boiler bodies of steel ultra-high pressure crystallizers that have been put into use, with a ratio of inner diameter to outer diameter ≥50.
