Scope

This standard specifies the liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry method for determining the residue levels of 450 pesticides and related chemicals in drinking water (see Appendix A and Appendix E).
This standard is applicable to the qualitative identification of 450 pesticides and related chemicals in drinking water, and also to the quantitative determination of 427 of these pesticides and related chemicals.
The method detection limits for the quantitative determination of the 427 pesticides and related chemicals in this standard are 0.010 μg/L to 0.065 mg/L (see Appendix A).
