Scope

This standard specifies the electrical connectors and their pin arrangements fixed on agricultural tractors, powered by batteries with a nominal voltage of 12 V, to form a connection interface between sensors fixed on tractors and devices that need to acquire signals from these sensors. This connector also has an interface for connecting to low-current power sources, mainly for powering instruments and meters. This standard provides a short-term solution for data exchange between a limited range of sensors fixed on tractors and other devices on agricultural tractors and accompanying machines (such as monitors, drives, and control systems), with the expectation that standard digital data bus systems will be applied in the future. This standard applies to limited data exchange devices for low-specification tractors that are not equipped with digital data bus systems.
