Scope

This standard specifies two methods for determining the total amount of inorganic fillers in polypropylene fibers and products, namely, the ashing-complexation titration method (Method A) and the thermogravimetric analysis method (Method B). Among them, the ashing-complexation titration method (Method A) can further determine the content of calcium carbonate.
This standard is applicable to products such as fibers and nonwovens made from polypropylene (PP) as raw materials.
