Scope
This standard specifies measures to reduce the risk of fire in flammable fuel systems in engine rooms and to prevent flammable fuel leaks, for use by designers, shipbuilders, engine room personnel, shipowners, operators, and maintenance personnel. This standard includes requirements for the design, structure, testing, installation, maintenance, and inspection of flammable fuel systems.
