Scope
This standard specifies the terms, definitions, test devices, and methods for measuring the performance of three-dimensional ultrasound imaging equipment using phantoms.
This standard applies to three-dimensional ultrasound imaging equipment that can display the object being examined on the display interface, with a frequency range of 1.5 MHz to 15 MHz for the ultrasound transducer. Three-dimensional ultrasound imaging equipment beyond this frequency range can also refer to the methods provided in this standard for testing.
This standard does not exclude the use of other methods to test the performance of three-dimensional ultrasound imaging equipment.
This standard does not address the method of reconstructing three-dimensional ultrasound images.
