Scope

This document specifies the technical requirements that handheld hedge trimmers powered by lithium-ion batteries should meet in addition to those stipulated in LY/T 3020—2018, and describes the corresponding testing methods.
This document is applicable to the design, development, production, and testing of lithium-ion hedge trimmers (hereinafter referred to as "hedge trimmers") powered by rechargeable lithium-ion battery packs (battery groups) with a nominal voltage not exceeding 75 V DC, and used by hand.
Note: The technical specifications of the lithium-ion hedge trimmers stipulated in this document are compared with those in LY/T 3020—2018 in Appendix A.
