Scope

Main technical content: 6. Cultivation techniques 6.1 Cultivation material formulation: - 60%–70% hardwood sawdust from broadleaf trees - 20% wheat bran - 1% gypsum - Other components shall comply with the provisions of NY/T 1935. 6.2 Bagging: - The water content and pH value of the cultivation material during bagging should be the same as those of conventional shiitake cultivation materials. 6.3 Sterilization: - Use steam sterilization under atmospheric pressure. Ensure that the sterilization process is carried out with strong intensity at both ends and stable intensity in the middle, aiming to reach 100°C within 4–6 hours. 6.4 Inoculation in low-temperature environments: - The density of spores of airborne contaminants is low and their vitality is strong, making it difficult for them to germinate into mycelium. Therefore, inoculation should not be carried out too early during cultivation. 6.5 Management during mycelium growth: - After inoculation, the mycelium will spread into the material and the bag temperature will gradually rise. Start turning the material over after 7–10 days, and turn it over once every 7–10 days thereafter. During turning, check the growth of mycelium and the presence of contaminants in each bag. Any bags with incomplete inoculation or ungerminated inoculation holes should be collected separately, remove mold spots, and apply 5–10% limewater to the affected areas, placing them in well-ventilated areas. 6.6 Mushroom harvesting management: - When the mushroom buds reach 0.5–1 cm in length, cut the bags with a knife in a "human" shape to allow the buds to grow out of the cut openings. To improve mushroom quality, leave 6–8 well-formed buds with uniform spacing and size in each bag. Harvest the mushrooms when they reach 50–60% maturity.
