Scope

This standard specifies the laboratory detection methods and/or on-site rapid detection methods for flammable gases, hydrogen sulfide, oxygen, ammonia, carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, chlorine gas, carbon dioxide, and total volatile organic compounds in urban sewers.
This standard is applicable to the measurement of gases accumulated in urban pipe networks, ditches, and pump stations that receive and transport urban sewage, industrial wastewater, and rainwater, as well as in wastewater treatment facilities, sludge final disposal facilities, and other related facilities.
