Scope

This document specifies the selection of passivation conditioning agents, implementation methods, influencing factors, and prevention of secondary environmental risks for the passivation and conditioning of paddy fields contaminated by cadmium, mercury, arsenic, lead, and chromium, either as single pollutants or in combination. This document is applicable to the remediation of soils contaminated by single or combined pollutants of cadmium, mercury, arsenic, lead, and chromium in paddy fields. However, it is not applicable to the remediation of soils in arid farming areas or those contaminated by radioactive heavy metals in paddy fields.
