Scope
This standard adopts continuous injection with water and offline water concentration testing techniques to determine the separation efficiency of fuel/water separators for dispersed fine or coarse insoluble water in fuel. This standard is applicable to fuel/water separators with a rated flow range of 50 L/h to 900 L/h, installed upstream and downstream of low-pressure fuel pumps. If agreed upon by both parties, fuel/water separators exceeding the flow range can also be applied.
