Scope
This standard specifies the methods for determining the bulk density, particle crushing strength, attrition rate, specific surface area, pore volume, and average pore diameter of deoxygenation-protected sulfur recovery catalysts. This standard applies to the Claus sulfur recovery process using hydrogen sulfide-containing acidic gases as raw materials, and sulfur recovery catalysts with deoxygenation protection functions, primarily composed of alumina as the active component.
