Scope
This standard specifies the summary of the method for determining the total hydrogen in uranium dioxide pellets, reagents and materials, instruments and equipment, samples, analysis steps, result calculation, and precision.
This standard is applicable to the determination of total hydrogen in uranium dioxide pellets, with the measurement range of the hydrogen mass fraction being 0.15 μg/g to 20.00 μg/g.
When the temperature of the uranium dioxide pellets is heated to more than 2,360℃, the consumption of the carbon monoxide oxidant increases significantly. Controlling the heating temperature not exceeding 2,360℃ while ensuring that the hydrogen is completely released can effectively reduce the consumption of the carbon monoxide oxidant.
