Main Technical Content: 3 Terms and Definitions The following terms and definitions apply to this standard: 3.1 Huangquqiao Lamb According to the "Administrative Measures for Geographical Indications of Agricultural Products", the lambs raised in the Huangquqiao Town of Pingluo County, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, which are self-bred and self-raised within the protected geographical indication scope of Huangquqiao Lamb (see Appendix A), and their fresh, chilled, and frozen carcasses after slaughter and passing health inspection and quarantine. [Source: T/SFST 002-2020] 3.2 Huangquqiao Lamb Refers to lambs born from sheep aged less than 3 months. 4 Target Requirements 4.1 Carcass Requirements 4.1.1 Carcass Indicators Carcass weight: 8.0 kg to 15.0 kg. 4.1.2 Physicochemical Indicators They shall comply with the requirements specified in Table 1. The sampling method shall be in accordance with GB/T 9695.19. 4.2 Environmental Requirements The production environment shall comply with NY/T 388. 4.3 Lamb Source The lambs shall be raised within the protected geographical indication scope of Huangquqiao Lamb in Pingluo County, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region (see Appendix A), which are based on existing breeding ewes and improved through crossbreeding with domestic and foreign high-quality meat sheep breeds such as Small-tailed Han sheep, Lake sheep, Baimei meat sheep, Suffolk, Dorper, and Australian White sheep. 4.4 Water Quality It shall comply with GB 5749. 4.5 Feed Quality It shall comply with relevant provisions of the "Regulations on the Management of Feed and Feed Additives", DB64
