Scope

Scope: This document applies to the production of "Xiangjiangyuan" radishes. Main technical content: (1) This document specifies requirements for the production environment, land preparation and fertilization, sowing, field management, pest and disease control, harvesting and cleaning, packaging and storage, waste disposal, product quality, and production records of "Xiangjiangyuan" radishes. (2) The environmental conditions of the production area should comply with T/XJY 1001-2021, "Environmental Quality Standards for Vegetable Production Areas of 'Xiangjiangyuan'", and requirements for land selection are also provided. (3) Based on the successful experience and practices of current "Xiangjiangyuan" radish production, this document stipulates the entire cultivation management process, including land preparation and fertilization (including deep plowing, sun-drying of the soil, fertilization, and field preparation), sowing (including variety selection, sowing time, seed treatment, sowing quantity, and sowing methods), field management (including seedling management, replanting and thinning, water and fertilizer management, top-dressing management, and weeding), pest and disease control, harvesting and cleaning, packaging and storage, and waste disposal. For example, the section on land preparation and fertilization stipulates requirements for deep plowing, types and dosages of fertilizers, and the requirements for ridge and ditch surfaces; the section on sowing stipulates requirements for variety selection, suitable sowing times for different types of varieties, seed treatment, sowing quantity, and sowing methods; the section on field management stipulates requirements for water management and pest and disease control during the seedling stage, replanting and thinning times and methods, water management, top-dressing timing, types, and frequency; the section on harvesting and cleaning stipulates harvesting times and methods; the section on packaging and storag
