Scope

This standard specifies the economic benefit indicators, basic statements, calculation methods, and economic benefit calculation parameters for calculating the economic benefits of tobacco agricultural scientific and technological achievements. This standard is applicable to calculating the economic benefits (or the economic losses that have been recovered) obtained after the application of tobacco agricultural scientific research results and agricultural scientific demonstration and promotion results in China, and to forecasting the potential economic benefits (or the economic losses that may be recovered) that may arise after further promotion. It is not applicable to the calculation and forecasting of the economic benefits of cigarette industry scientific and technological achievements.
