Scope

This standard specifies the principles, reagents and materials, instrumentation, experimental procedures, result calculation, recovery rate and precision, and allowable deviations for the determination of pararosaniline in lip cosmetics by high-performance liquid chromatography. This standard is applicable to the determination of pararosaniline in lip cosmetics such as lipsticks, lip balms, lip glosses, and lip stains. The detection limit of this standard method is 0.20 mg/kg, and the quantification limit is 0.60 mg/kg.
