Scope

This standard specifies the ordering content, dimensions, shapes, allowable deviations, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates for iron-chromium-aluminum foil materials used in metal honeycomb substrates for automotive exhaust catalytic converters.
This standard applies to cold-rolled foil materials used in metal honeycomb substrates for automotive exhaust catalytic converters, as well as those used in non-road internal combustion engine exhaust catalytic converters. Cold-rolled foil materials used in exhaust gas catalytic converters for chemical, petroleum, and gas industries (hereinafter referred to as "foil materials") can be used as a reference.
