Scope
This standard specifies the test methods, result calculation, recovery rate and precision, and allowable deviations for the determination of the content of spiramycin, azithromycin, tilmicosin, clindamycin, roxithromycin, erythromycin, tylosin, clarithromycin, and roxacillin in cosmetics by liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS).
This standard is applicable to the determination of the content of spiramycin, azithromycin, tilmicosin, clindamycin, roxithromycin, erythromycin, tylosin, clarithromycin, and roxacillin in ointments, creams, emulsions, and aqueous cosmetics.
The detection limit and quantification limit of the method in this standard are referred to Table A.1 in Appendix A.
