Scope
This specification applies to the calibration of analog and digital winding inter-turn insulation impulse voltage testers (hereinafter referred to as winding inter-turn testers) with a maximum output voltage peak of no more than 15 kV.
This specification does not apply to the calibration of voltage withstand testers with AC/DC voltage output, and voltage withstand testers with output voltage waveforms including sine wave, lightning impulse wave with wavefront truncation, and rectangular impulse wave.
