Scope

This standard specifies the environmental requirements for the production base of dark purple Fritillaria (Fritillaria unibracteata Hsiao et K.C.Hsia); the technical standards for seedling breeding; the technical standards for medicinal material cultivation; the technical specifications for the harvest, processing, packaging, and storage of dark purple Fritillaria medicinal materials; and the guidelines for the use of pesticides and fertilizers in the production of dark purple Fritillaria medicinal materials.
This standard applies to the distribution of wild dark purple Fritillaria and artificially cultivated areas in Qinghai, Gansu, Sichuan, Tibet, and adjacent regions at altitudes of 2,800 m to 4,500 m, with an annual precipitation of more than 550 mm and soils that are loose and rich in humus.
