Scope

This part of YY 0290 applies to intraocular lenses (IOLs) primarily intended to correct the refractive power of crystalline lenses, excluding those that compensate for farsightedness using multifocal or other simultaneous vision optics, and those designed to correct astigmatism. This part sets out the specific requirements for IOLs that are not covered in other parts of YY 0290. Other requirements are the same as those for ordinary IOLs.
