Scope
This document describes the test method for determining the long-term dark storage stability of color photographs.
This document is applicable to color photographs made with traditional photographic materials. These images are generated by developing, silver dye bleaching, dye transfer, instant transfer systems, or similar systems. The test methods specified in this document also include the dark stability of digital color images produced using dry and liquid toner electrophotography, thermal dye transfer (sometimes called "dye sublimation"), and inkjet printing systems.
