Main technical content: This standard specifies the quality grade indicators, inspection, packaging, labeling, storage, and transportation requirements for dwarf self-rooting apple seedlings, and is applicable to the breeding and sales of dwarf self-rooting apple seedlings in their first and second growing seasons. The main content of the standard is to classify dwarf self-rooting apple seedlings into three grades based on seven aspects, including roots, stems, and branches within the shaping zone. The main indicators for Grade 1 include: more than 10 lateral roots, a base diameter of more than 0.25cm for lateral roots, a length of more than 15cm for lateral roots, a stem height of more than 160cm, a stem diameter of more than 1.5cm, and more than 12 branches, with a branch length of ≥5cm. The main indicators for Grade 2 include: more than 8 lateral roots, a base diameter of more than 0.2cm for lateral roots, a length of more than 15cm for lateral roots, a stem height of more than 140cm, a stem diameter of more than 1.2cm, and more than 9 branches, with a branch length of ≥5cm. The main indicators for Grade 3 include: more than 5 lateral roots, a base diameter of more than 0.2cm for lateral roots, a length of more than 15cm for lateral roots, a stem height of more than 120cm, a stem diameter of more than 1cm, and more than 6 branches, with a branch length of ≥5cm.
