Scope
This standard specifies the terminology, symbols, structure, requirements, test equipment, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of intelligent gas flow meters (hereinafter referred to as flow meters).
This standard applies to flow meters that measure gas flow in closed pipes and are equipped with electronic correction devices.
This standard does not apply to prepaid control devices for flow meters.
