Scope: This document specifies the inspection of raw materials, intermediate products, factory inspections, type inspections, inspection methods, and judgment rules for feeding Alashan cashmere goats. This document is applicable to the inspection and testing of Alashan cashmere goat feed; Main technical content: 3. Terms and definitions The following terms and definitions are applicable to this document. - Concentrate supplement: To meet the nutritional needs of cashmere goats, a concentrate supplement is fed in addition to their roughage intake. It is mainly composed of energy feed, protein feed, mineral feed, and additive feed, mixed in a certain proportion. - Total mixed rations (TMR): A nutritionally balanced diet obtained by cutting and mixing roughage with concentrate supplements in a specific proportion and sequence using dedicated mixing machinery, according to the nutritional needs of cashmere goats at different growth stages and production performance. - Forage-to-concentrate ratio: The ratio of concentrate supplement to the dry matter of roughage in the mixed ration. 4. Raw material inspection All batches of raw materials entering the production plant must undergo physical and chemical index inspections. Sampling shall be conducted in accordance with the methods specified in GB/T 14699.1. - Sensory inspection: Check the color, odor, and texture of the raw materials. Unqualified raw materials are not allowed to be stored. During storage, pay attention to the temperature of the raw materials and conduct sampling inspections regularly. Remove agglomerated raw materials in time before feeding. - Remove spoiled raw materials and do not use them. 5. Intermediate inspection Before producing pellet feed, check whether the particle size of the powdered feed meets the standard requirements.
