Scope

This part of GB/T 24367 specifies the technical requirements for automatic switching optical network (ASON) node devices based on synchronous digital hierarchy (SDH), including the basic composition of node devices, technical requirements for node devices related to the control plane, transport plane, and data communication network (DCN), technical requirements for related interfaces, performance index requirements, protection and recovery requirements, management requirements, and operation and maintenance requirements. This part is applicable to ASON node devices used in public telecommunications networks based on the functional block characteristics of SDH equipment specified in ITU-T G.783—2006. Similar devices in dedicated telecommunications networks can also be used as a reference.
