Scope

This standard specifies the sampling and measurement methods for estimating the impact of environmental tobacco smoke (ETS) on respirable suspended particulate matter (RSP). This method is suitable for individual sampling and regional sampling. This method is the same as the method of estimating RSP in ETS by determining the mass of respirable suspended particulate matter by weight method, and determining the UV-absorbing and fluorescent particulate matter by UV absorption method and fluorescence method.
Note: For detailed content, see GB/T 21131.
This standard also specifies the estimation method of respirable suspended particulate components in environmental smoke - the vanillin determination method.
