Scope

This standard specifies the classification and naming, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of phenolic urea alkyd resins for casting. This standard applies to linear phenolic resins (component I) synthesized under certain process conditions from phenol and high-concentration formaldehyde with the action of special catalysts and additives, which are combined with polyisocyanate (component II) to form two-component phenolic urea alkyd resins for casting.
