Scope

This standard specifies the method of model compilation for non-destructive testing instruments. This standard applies to eight major categories of non-destructive testing instrument products (hereinafter referred to as products), including radiation detection instruments, ultrasonic detection instruments, electromagnetic (eddy current) detection instruments, X-ray diffraction instruments, fluorescence spectrometers, acoustic detection instruments, stress measurement instruments, and visual inspection devices (equipment).
