Scope
This part of GB/T 33521 provides guidelines and methods for measuring the dynamic performance of the ground (i.e., the propagation medium of ground-induced structural noise and ground-transmitted vibration) between the track system and the foundations of adjacent buildings. The aim is to determine the parameters of the ground system in order to reliably predict the propagation of noise and vibration, design track systems and foundations that meet noise and vibration requirements, plan countermeasures, and validate design methods.
