Scope

This standard applies to the field measurement of spray deposition on trees and shrubs using ground sprayers. The standard includes the determination of the volume and mass (in terms of both absolute quantity and distribution) of spray deposited on targets such as leaves and fruits, as well as the amount of spray lost on the ground. The standard does not involve the measurement of spray drift. However, when combined with the field measurement method of spray drift given in GB/T 24681, it can provide a good evaluation of the spray quality balance in trees and shrubs when measuring airborne drift. The standard measurement procedures specified in this standard facilitate flexible arrangements for field tests and help compare the results of different field trials or laboratory tests (such as using vertical distribution test devices).
