Scope

This standard specifies the method of designating the grades of quenched and tempered steel plates for improving the formability of high-strength structural steel, the content of orders, dimensions, shapes, weights, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates. This standard applies to high-strength structural steel plates (hereinafter referred to as steel plates) with a thickness of not more than 50 mm, delivered in a quenched and tempered (hardened and tempered) state for improving the formability.
