Scope
This standard specifies the method outlines, reagents and materials, instrumentation, experimental procedures, result presentation, and method precision for the distillation-separation-phenanthrene spectrophotometry and extraction-separation-phenanthrene spectrophotometry methods for the determination of germanium in coal. During arbitration analysis, the distillation-separation-phenanthrene colorimetry method should be used. This standard is applicable to lignite, bituminous coal, and anthracite. The measurement range is (1–200) μg/g.
