Scope

This document specifies the seedling cultivation, afforestation, tending and management, forest regeneration, effectiveness evaluation, and file management for the coastal shelterbelt of Acacia spp. This document is applicable to the construction and management of protective forests of Taiwan Acacia (Acacia confusa), thick-pod Acacia (A.crassicarpa), Ken's Acacia (A.cunninghamii), coiled-pod Acacia (A.cincinnata), veined-pod Acacia (A.aulacocarpa), blackwood Acacia (A.melanoxylon), large-leaved Acacia (A.auriculiformis), and hybrid Acacia (A.mangium × A.auriculiformis) in coastal sandy beaches, rocky coasts, and base-line forest belts, as well as in-depth protective forests.
