Scope

This document describes the method for determining the residual amounts of 19 veterinary drugs in organic fertilizers by liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry.
This document is applicable to the determination of the residual amounts of amitriptyline (AMT), sulfadiazine (SPD), sulfadoxine (SDZ), sulfamethoxazole (SMX), sulfathiazole (STZ), sulfamethoxypyridazine (SMI), sulfadimethoxine (SIZ), sulfadimethoxine (SMT), sulfadimethoxine (SMZ), sulfadiazine (SMM), sulfadimethoxine (SM), sulfadiazine (SMPZ), sulfachlorpyridazine (SCP), sulfadimethoxine (SDO), sulfadimethoxine (SDM), norfloxacin (NFC), ciprofloxacin (CFC), enrofloxacin (EFC), and ofloxacin (OFC) in organic fertilizers.
The detection limits of this method are: 20 μg/kg for sulfathiazole, sulfadiazine, sulfadoxine, and sulfachlorpyridazine; and 5 μg/kg for the other target substances.
