Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, test systems, performance requirements, and inspection methods for the emission rate of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from interior decoration materials. This standard applies to the inspection and evaluation of the performance of VOC emission rate test systems for various types of interior decoration materials, including artificial boards and their products, interior wall coatings, wood coatings, adhesives, carpets and carpet adhesives, wallpaper, and polyvinyl chloride roll flooring.
