Scope
This standard specifies the test principles, test equipment, test conditions, test procedures, test records, data processing, result presentation, and test reports for conducting outdoor cyclic spray exposure tests on products and materials.
This standard is applicable to natural environmental cyclic spray corrosion tests of metals and their alloy materials, metal coatings, anodic oxide films, and conversion films. It can also be referenced for products and materials that may encounter rainy environments.
