Scope

This standard specifies the fire resistance classification of vault and archive room doors, fire resistance test devices, test conditions, specimen requirements, test procedures, test result presentation, and test reports, etc.
This standard applies to the doors of fixed and mobile vaults in enclosed spaces with a maximum volume of 142 m3, and also to the doors of archive rooms in enclosed spaces with a maximum volume of 1,420 m3. For the application method of the test results of vault doors or archive room doors after testing according to this standard, please refer to Appendix A.
