Scope

This document describes the general principles and guidelines for measuring the magnetostrictive characteristics of grain-oriented electrical steel strips (sheets) using a single-chip tester and optical sensors, and specifies the measurement procedures, the calculation of the characteristics, the reproducibility of the peak-to-peak value λp-p, the measurement devices, and the test reports.
