Basic Information
Scope
This standard defines the communication protocol for interconnecting and exchanging data between components (gateways, storage devices, and application units) in an IPv4/IPv6 network environment. It achieves compatibility with multi-vendor devices by adopting open application interfaces on a common digital infrastructure. The standard defines important system components for building digital communities, including gateways for fieldbus networks, storage devices for establishing data sharing platforms, and application units that can be used to build ubiquitous infrastructure networks between buildings and across cities. The standard allows multiple service providers and integrators to operate the infrastructure in a distributed manner and defines component management protocols that support the interoperability of distributed infrastructures. The standard also considers corresponding security requirements to ensure the security and integrity of data.
