Scope

This document is applicable to frame-type cabinet structures with interface size specifications, which are used to install various equipment. The frame structure provides an installation surface with mounting points for assembling internal and external accessories. Unlike IEC 60917-2-1 and IEC 60297-3-100, this document allows cover plates and front/rear doors, among other cover components, to exceed the external coordination dimensions of the cabinet.
