Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, test conditions, conditions for suspending the test, test items, test methods, and the content of the test report for the type-approval test of vehicles powered by liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).
This standard applies to LPG single-fuel and dual-fuel vehicles that are equipped with dedicated LPG devices or have their engines replaced with LPG engines on already type-approved vehicle products. Newly developed basic-type LPG vehicles can also refer to this standard for application.
