Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, requirements, inspection rules, judgment rules, product usage instructions, packaging, transportation, and storage for knit pants (three-quarter pants, seven-quarter pants, and five-quarter pants).
This standard is applicable to the quality assessment of knit pants made from pure synthetic fibers, cotton-synthetic blends, or wool (blended yarns) mixed with synthetic fibers (three-quarter pants, seven-quarter pants, and five-quarter pants). Knit pants made from other fibers may be implemented in accordance with this standard.
