Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, and marking, labeling, and packaging requirements for blood refrigerators (hereinafter referred to as refrigerators) with cooling devices, which are used to store blood for transfusion and have an internal temperature range of 2°C to 6°C, an ambient temperature of 16°C to 32°C, and a maximum relative humidity of 75%. This standard applies to blood refrigerators used to store blood for transfusion.
